class description

pre-kindergarten class

5 Day Option | Monday - Friday | 9a-12n | $310/month
4 Day Option | Monday - Thursday | 9a - 12n | $260/month
This class is designed for children who are 4 by August 31 and intend to register for Kindergarten next fall. Students in this class participate in Chapel, Music and PE throughout the week. Curriculum focuses on writing upper and lowercase letters, writing numbers and counting from 0-20, practicing letter sounds and beginning sight words, identifying rhyming words, recognizing patterns, and learning several science/social studies topics.

3 day preschool class

Monday, Wednesday and Friday | 9a-12n | $210/month
This class is designed for children age 3 1/2 or 4 who are ready to learn, with or without previous preschool experience. This class will focus on helping children prepare for Kindergarten or our Pre-Kindergarten class. Students participate in Chapel, Music and PE once a week. This class builds preschool knowledge (writing uppercase letters and numbers 0-20, knowing colors and shapes, identifying patterns, learning about science/social studies topics, and vocabulary building).

2 day preschool class

Tuesday & Thursday | 9a-12n | $160/month
This class is designed for children age 3 and up with no previous preschool experience. This class will focus on learning through sharing, play, singing, imitation, pre-writing/coloring/tracing, and socialization. Students will participate in Chapel and Music once a week. This class is a great introduction to school routines and beginning preschool academics (identifying uppercase letters, counting from 0-10, colors, shapes, and vocabulary building).

enrollment requirements

Preschooler must be  completely potty trained. This means that your child can take care of all aspects of toileting without using a pull-up. This includes recognizing the urge to go, undressing, dressing, cleaning, and hand washing.

Current Families
We are so glad that you are choosing to spend another year at Yakima Grace Preschool! To guarantee a spot in your preferred class, all current families are encouraged to register on February 1.

New Families
Welcome to Yakima Grace Preschool! Before registering take a moment to explore our classes and confirm which class is the best fit for your child based on their previous preschool experience and age. Some classes may require an informal assessment. Registration opens on February 13th.

Our preschool is God-centered & God's Word is integrated throughout the GOC preschool program. Children are engaged in a combination of play-based and academic learning.
